On the east face of the tower is a memorial to the American airmen of the 305th Bomber Group who served out of Chelveston Airfield during WWII. The 305th Bomber Group Memorial Association in 1980 supported us financially in the restoration of the tower. In the church is a copy of "The Book of Governors" presented to Chelveston Parish Council in 1992. The book contains copies of letters from the Governor of every one of States of America.
